Fall 2014 Anime Chart and shows I’ll watch

Barely a week left until the season starts, so it’s about time to get this done.

– Kill la Kill OVA – Already watched this, actually. It was super good.
– Shinryaku! Ika Musume OVA
– Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow OVA – OH GOD THIS IS OUT??? Subs where? WHERE?
– D-Frag! OVA – Still no subs on this one, as far as I’ve seen?
– Prisma Illya OVA
– Zvezda OVA – Want. Want so much. Zvezda is amazing and apparently they’re making an idol unit.
– WataMote OVA
– Seitokai Yakuindomo* OVA -This has been the show that keeps on giving and I love it.
– YuruYuri Nachuyachumi! – Apparently I never watched the other OVA either. *Shrug* I’ll get around to it, I guess.

I’m still waiting on a few shows to wrap up my final impressions for Summer. It’ll be some time next week before I’m able to make that post since I have a Monday show to watch and possibly a Wednesday show. (Is Yama no Susume S2 ending after one season or will it continue into Fall? No idea and subs are slow because Crunchy sucks, so I don’t know where it stands.)

Summer 2014 Initial Impressions

So as usual, this one is late. Laaaaaaaaate. I could make an excuse and say I was waiting to see if Francesca got subs (which I was, technically), but it’s a week after airing and still no subs, so away we go with the impressions anyway. The truth, though, was that I just didn’t get to do this last week and I was too lazy to do it this weekend.

I’m kind of debating the ImoCho OVA. I didn’t really like that show very much (it was just kind of okay and I told myself that if there was ever a second season that I wouldn’t even bother to watch it), but the “forbidden” episode angle is… interesting. Because that show already pushed it quite a bit. I’ll probably wait and see what other people have to say.

There are still a few things I’m waiting on to wrap up my Spring final impressions (Mekaku City Actors, Puchimas S2, and Love Live S2), so those should be up on Monday with any luck, but we’ll see. I anticipate being busier than usual next week. I’ll try to get them in before the Summer season starts.

UPDATE (6-29): Now see, this is why I always wait until the last minute to do these. Apparently, a day or two after I uploaded my copy of the chart to the blog (to be blogged Monday, even though I forgot, shut up), there was a new version added. There’s also a new season of Sengoku Basara airing this season. Not sure if I’ll watch it (I still haven’t watched the movie), but it’ll be on my To Watch list, I suppose.
